The Smoking Man.
Originally active on the north of Scotland music scene with The Hole in the Wall Gang, The John Pearson Group and The Pearsons, The Smoking Man used the enforced home-time due to lockdown and a big lifestyle change to write and record his first album of original material since the 1980s, Time Must Come.
A mix of rock and ballads, it reflects the various emotions and frustrations of the long Covid lockdowns and looks forward – with some trepidation – to freedom regained.
